Ken is the owner and he runs the place. Starts with sake, then how to make nigiri and maki, then matcha. He gives you his family recipe. I have tried to make sushi at home and it's a disaster. The sushi I made here was actually really good. Afterwards he will send you recipes and pictures. Really friendly and highly recommend coming!

A highlight of our Japan trip so far! Our family (2 adults, a tween and a child) had a fantastic time this afternoon learning to make both sushi rolls (maki) and fish on rice (nigiri) sushi, and enjoying matcha and sake. There were 7 people in our session, so great hands on attention from both the host and the chef. Getting to eat our creations was great and it was enough for our dinner. Highly recommended!

The sushi experience was great. I came with a group of 4 people. The location was clearly marked and easy to access from the Asakusa station. The hosts Hiro and Sora gave us chef jackets to wear and started us off with a sake toast and proceeded to offer as much sake as we wanted throughout the class. The sushi demonstration was fun and engaging. The amount of sushi we each made was a lot and we were quite full at the end. The experience ended with matcha drinks. 10/10 I would do again! This would be a great fit for a corporate outing or a date.

This one! So much better than the big group tourist classes. Small and intimate setting, authentic sushi. Fun teachers. Having all you can drink sake, matcha making, and a mochi dessert were an awesome bonus. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience making sushi and matcha. My daughter and I both agree this is a very good way to spend your time in tokyo. We will have memories to laugh about in the future, and higher standards for sushi going on. As a vegetarian individual they accommodated very well giving us just as tasty options without the meat. The instructors were very knowledgeable and everything was easy to understand even for younger kids. Would recommend if you come to Tokyo.
